Welcome to Blevins' Airbnb! Located near the foot of East River Mountain, we offer a spacious yet cozy garage efficiency apartment, complete with deck and ample parking. We believe you will enjoy visiting our beautiful Southwest Virginia area where we are just across the state line from our sister city in West Virginia. You will find us within a mile or two of Bluefield University and Bluefield State University as well as the Hatfield McCoy Trail. There's lots to do in our neck of the woods! We offer the following amenities: Queen-sized bed, mini-frig/microware, and small Keurig along with a table and chairs. We also will offer water, juice, and soft drinks. A variety of snacks will be available as well. There is ample seating around the room and there is even a ping-pong table should you feel the need to let out a little steam. The television is equipped with directv (which includes HBOMAX) and a vhs player with some old movies to enjoy. The bathroom boasts of a bathtub and shower combo (the tub is jetted). Shampoo/conditioner/handsoap and a hairdryer will be available. There's a walk-in closet to hang your clothes. Also, you'll find an iron and mini-ironing board inside. Outside, the deck is furnished with a few chairs and table, and it has a great view of the mountain. Feel free to take a walk around the neighborhood. There's plenty of wildlife to keep you entertained! We live on the corner of Mountain Lane Avenue and Cliffview Street. There is a driveway on Mountain Lane for you to park which will make it easy to move your luggage into the apartment. ATV's are asked to park in the lower driveway beneath the apartment (on Cliffview). Please note there is one step from the driveway onto our porch, then another onto the deck, and four steps into the apartment. The complete studio apartment is accessible to you. Please note there are seasonal personal items stored in the closets, but you are welcome to hang your clothes in the front sides of the walk-in closet. More than likely we will be around but we won't invade your privacy. If you have any questions during your stay and we aren't available, you will be able to reach us by cell phone number which we will provide when you arrive. The apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood. It’s not unusual to see an occasional biker or runner. We are within two miles of Fincastle on the Mountain, a dining and golf facility open to the public. Also there is a quaint market that has just celebrated 50 years in business called Double Gates Grocery. It is known for its delicious hamburgers/hotdogs/barbeques and is only a half mile away. The town of Bluefield, Virginia, is about three miles away, and there is rarely a problem with parking. There you will find a few hometown shops such as Cornerstone Gifts (located inside of New Graham Pharmacy) and Nancy's Downtown Boutique. Other chain businesses such as Walmart and Sam's Club are close by as well. Also, there's not a lack of fast food restaurants, as well as locals offering various types of cuisine.
