Just four doors from the state capitol, Home by the Dome is the perfect location for any trip to Charleston, WV! This 1920's house boasts spacious rooms with beautiful architecture. We especially love the crown molding. The space has been updated with modern amenities, but still holds that early 20th century charm. Being just one block from the Kanawha River (and Kanawha Boulevard), it's a quick and easy drive to restaurants, Capitol Market, the Clay Center, University of Charleston and more. The first floor includes a fully stocked kitchen, dining area with extra large table, a spacious living area (with a sleeper sofa), a half bath and a laundry room. The upstairs has three large bedrooms, a full bath and a playroom. The living room and all bedrooms are equipped with smart Roku tv’s. Guests have access to the two main floors. Basement and attic are not accessible to guests. We will be available via Airbnb messenger to answer any questions during your stay. Located less than half a block from the state capitol, Home by the Dome is in a quiet commercial/residential area. The grounds of the Capitol complex are beautiful and open to the public! And for those who enjoy walking/running, you'll be one block from Kanawha Boulevard. This follows the Kanawha River; spanning from one side of the city to the other.
