We welcome you to The Little House, sensitively restored and furnished. Enjoy entire house and its 2.7 acres, adjacent to 52 acres of walking trails, while still in the heart of town. Ideal for nature-seekers and business travelers alike. Calm, quiet environs in which to read a book— or write one. One loft bedroom with one full bed + one (30 x 70) daybed. One pull-out loveseat in sitting room; 2 stored iBeds. Note all bedding details under Space. Re: pets: one dog allowed. No cats. The Little House is an historic build, with smaller rooms than in contemporary homes. Regarding group reservations, families or close friends will be comfortable. The house is furnished with generations of antiques and artwork; if this is not ideal for you or your guests, please consider other accommodations. Please note that the second sleeping area is small sitting room with a pull-out loveseat. We list 4 as the maximum number of guests the house accommodates, though it will sleep 6 guests, considering the upstairs daybed, downstairs pull-out loveseat, and 2 iBeds. We ask you to consider your comfort with a loft bedroom (gabled ceiling), as well as with other sleeping options, as we have found guests have varying impressions of the space: three have found it tight, while five have found it spacious ... Please take care to review all descriptions of the space, bedding, terrain, parking, etc., to decide if our space is right for you. Guests must climb steps from parking area and at entrance(s). Interior stairs to loft bedroom. No curtains or blinds. If these are a must for you or your guests, you may be more comfortable in another listing. House is very private, positioned with immediate 2.8 acre buffer, plus acres of woods to the north and south. Our house is comfortable for a couple, a family with school-age children, or a small group of close friends. And solo travelers of course ! Least suitable for elderly guests and those with compromised mobility. (Parents, please know upstairs windows have low interior latches, and that the house is not set up with a crib or stair-gates. Since many families have loved the space and setting, we wish to keep the house available to them. Please consider your family's comfort re: doors and windows and very young children). 1. Bedroom: stairs to LOFT bedroom with double bed, dresser, closets, small library. •Comfortable twin daybed in east dormer as well - suitable for child or small adult. •Two twin iBeds stored in leftmost closet, available for set-up for extra guests on the same level. **(Note on iBEDS: both are cot-sized frames with memory foam mattresses, not suitable for guests over 6'). 2.
