Papa Bears Den is the Perfect Location to Visit the Hatfield and McCoy Trails offering access to not only one but two different trail systems (Devil Anse & Rockhouse)within a mile of the property! Devil Anse connects with a Third trial system (Buffalo) offering days of trials with no need to trailer to other locations! Relax on the porch or by the fire pits while cooking on the grills by a scenic creek! While here visit the gravesite or museum of Devil Anse, just a short walking distance away You will enjoy a fully stocked kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and 3 bedrooms (all which contain queen size beds). Our living room also provides more sleeping arrangements, having 4 futons. In total our home offers 5 queen beds, 2 twins, and 4 futons and 3 blow up beds to over a variety of sleeping arrangements. Smart TVs are in are each bed room. The house also has a washer and dryer. The scenic outdoor seating area is also a great place to cook out and relax beside a creek with a beautiful water fall during the wet season or after a heavy rain. It contains 2 grills, 2 picnic tables and 2 fire pits. Some Wood for the fire pits and charcoal for the grills is provided. If needed more can be provided (donation appreciated but not required). Closet food is 3/10 mile at the Hatfield museum located in Devil Anse Hatfield last home place. You are walking distance from Devil Anse Hatfields monument at his burial site. (Most of his children are also buried at this grave site). The house is Centrally located between Logan (13 miles) Gilbert (16 miles), Matewan (16 miles) A door code will be sent for access to the property.
