This 2br ADA unit is TRAILSIDE to the Hatfield McCoy Pocahontas Trails & Visitors Center at Coaldale, WV. Direct access to Pocahontas Spearhead Trail in VA. and to all Southern HMT Trails in WV, over 500 mi. On Rt 52 just 13 miles from I-77 exit 1. Experience rustic charm with all the amenities of home in Four Wheeler Heaven's newest unit, The Miners Den! This two bedroom, one bathroom unit sleeps 6-8 people and is wheelchair accessible. When you walk in, you'll be greeted by rustic decor and historical photos from Mercer, McDowell and Tazewell counties, including photos of coal miners from our own family. The large living room TV and complimentary Wi-Fi provide plenty of entertainment after a long day's ride. The Miners Den comes fully equipped with towels, linens, utensils, coffeemaker and crock pot — basically everything you need to get started. You can cook for your whole group with a full kitchen, including an oven/stove, microwave, full-size refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, coffeemaker and crockpot. The Miners Den also has its own washer/dryer unit. Trust us - you'll need it after a day on the trails! An oversized bathroom with an ADA accessible toilet and shower provides easy access to persons with disabilities. The master bedroom features a queen bed, closet, and its own private HD TV. The second bedroom is a bunk room with four Twin XL beds - perfect for the kids or other members of your group. The Miners Den also has a roll-out bed in the living room couch that can sleep up to 2 additional people, for a total capacity of 8. There is plenty of room to park your vehicles and unhook your trailers so you can be ready to go out on the town after a full day of trail riding. The bunk room shares a lock-out door with the Coaldale Condo, our original two bedroom, one bathroom unit that sleeps up to 5 people. Groups that rent both the Miners Den and Coaldale Condo will have a total of four bedrooms and two bathrooms with a capacity of 13 people. Ride all four southern Hatfield-McCoy trails: Pocahontas, Indian Ridge, Pinnacle Creek and Warrior. The Spearhead Original Pocahontas trail is a quick 4-mile ride up and over Coaldale Mountain Road. We also have a handy machine wash area on property and offer trail permits, Trail GPS tablets, FWH T-shirts, firewood and Guide services for applicable Fees. Ride your ATV or UTV right from our location to the Hatfield McCoy Pocahontas Trailhead just 100 yards away!
